Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team helps guide the care, communication, and day-to-day support that families receive at Be Yourself ABA. Each team member plays an important role in creating a positive experience for the children and families we serve.

Jessica Schurstein

BCBA

Clinical Director

Jessica Schurstein, MS, BCBA, is the clinical director of Be Yourself ABA. Jessica received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and a master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University in Minnesota in 2017. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. Currently, Jessica is pursuing her PsyD in Behavior Analysis at Capella University.

Jessica has experience providing direct in-home therapy, completing initial and ongoing assessments, supervision, and parent education. Additionally, Jessica has experience serving individuals in out of home residential placements from ages 5 to 21 to decrease maladaptive behaviors, increase social awareness and communication, and promote independence. Jessica’s passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism inspired her to open Be Yourself ABA.

Orlando Santos

Director of Operations

Dr. Orlando Santos is the executive director for Be Yourself ABA. He received his doctorate degree from Iberoamerican University, School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic in 2015. Orlando has a passion for helping others. He completed his medical internship at various hospitals throughout the Dominican Republic supporting low-income children and families. This experience as well as his experience as a medical volunteer during the earthquake in Haiti inspired him to seek out additional opportunities to support his community. Orlando began working with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2010. He has served individuals in hospital, residential and in-home settings. Orlando has extensive experience with supervision and management of ABA programs. His management and organizational skills are a great asset to Be Yourself ABA!

Roles & Definitions

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

A BCBA is a licensed clinician responsible for assessing a child’s needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and supervising the therapy team. They monitor progress, make program adjustments, and collaborate closely with caregivers to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Registered Behavior Technicinan (RBT)

Our Registered Behavior Technicians provide compassionate, hands‑on support to children during their daily ABA sessions. RBTs work closely with our BCBAs to implement individualized treatment plans, teach new skills, and help children build confidence through positive, consistent learning experiences.

Parent Training Coordinator

Our Parent Training Coordinator partners directly with families to ensure they feel confident, supported, and empowered throughout their ABA journey. This role focuses on teaching parents practical strategies they can use at home, helping them understand their child’s treatment plan, and offering guidance that strengthens consistency across settings. The coordinator works closely with clinical leadership to design training sessions, answer questions, and provide families with tools that make daily routines smoother and more successful.

Director of Operations

The Director of Operations helps manage the systems and processes that keep the practice organized and running efficiently. This role supports communication, coordination, and the overall experience for both families and staff.

Program Coordinator

A Program Coordinator helps oversee service coordination and supports consistency across programs and team communication. This role helps make sure children and families receive organized, responsive support throughout their time with the practice.
